The Fulfilment Network Planning team is a source of continuous innovation and bringing the highest standards for an even better customer experience than today, and will be a source of acceleration for Amazon's further growth.
To that end, we will build and improve an operation network across 20 or more fulfillment center (FC) locations with a huge logistics network, which is the cornerstone of the operation business, and plan and promote medium- to long-term business strategies.
This position is the position of Program Manager in charge of Business Planning in the FC Network Planning team.
The main tasks you will be responsible for in this position are as follows.
1) Business cycle management and strategy planning for the operations department and FC
a) Formulation and development of medium- to long-term FC growth strategies
b) Drafting a plan to launch a new site
c) Building and managing management metrics in line with global policies
d) Budget planning and performance management
2) Cross-network program management
a) Project leads across fulfillment centers and departments
3) Support for the launch of a new fulfillment center
a) Implement PDCA cycles to improve operations
When implementing work, it is necessary to closely communicate with domestic and international personnel via email, conference call, etc., and lead the project so that it progresses smoothly.
Also, depending on the nature of the work, we may travel to multiple domestic locations.

Key job responsibilities
・Lead business planning for the entire JPFC Network
・Reduce operating costs for short-term (3 months), medium-term (6 months), and long-term (1-3 years) periods.
・3PL management
A day in the life
Flextime ※ Standard working hours 8 hours/day and business hours is 9-18 (also consider personal circumstances).
All business days are spent in the designated office or other company location.
About the team
This position works as a member of the Business planning team within Amazon Japan's FNP team.
Our team is in charge of a wide range of tasks, from short to long-term ranges, so that we can operate our ever-expanding Operation Network more efficiently, and we are making improvements day by day so that we can deliver products with a rich selection of products, sufficient inventory volume, and quick delivery speed to our customers.

Basic Qualifications
・Bachelor's degree or higher
・Business Level Japanese proficiency
・Basic level English proficiency
・MS Excel intermediate level (data visualization using functions, Pivot Table, Power Query, experience)
・Over 3 years of project management experience involving various challenges
・Over 3 years of process improvement experience using data/metrics

・Business level English
・Experience reporting results to senior leadership on an ongoing basis
・Stakeholder management experience involving multiple and varied levels
